My 3 Bites column for the January issue of PHOENIX Magazine is all about where to score the trendiest dish of 2014: Deviled Eggs.

I feature three restaurants that elevate deviled eggs from potluck staple to elegant appetizers, starting with lobster-studded eggs at Proof Canteen at the Four Seasons. Perhaps the smoothest, most dreamily scented eggs were found at funky Austin-import, Salty Sow, and The Standard in North Scottsdale is wowing their ‘hood with curried eggs topped with pickled shallots.
